You can rent the deck from Strata community to dock your boat overnight which is 30 feet away from the house. In 5 minutes walking distance, you go kayaking and boating on the local lake hiking in the local rain forest. Pender harbor is also famous as a great fishing and crabing. You also can play golf or visit the tourist attractions in Sunshine Coast. Known as the "Venice of the North", Pender harbour has many inlets, beaches, marinas, coves and bays. Pender Harbour, British Columbia is located south of the Earls Cove BC Ferry Terminal on the northern point of the lower Sunshine Coast region.
From the City of Vancouver, BC: You need to board a BC Ferry from Horseshoe Bay (Vancouver Mainland) to Langdale (Sunshine Coast) which is on the southern most tip of the Sunshine Coast closest to the community of Gibsons. From there, travel north on Highway 101 for about 1-2 hours visiting with Sechelt, BC working your way toward Pender Harbour.
From Comox Valley on Vancouver Island: When island hopping and approaching Pender Harbour from the northern side of the Sunshine Coast from the community of Comox Valley on Vancouver Island one must board the Little River BC Ferry which takes you directly to the community of Powell River, BC. FROM there drive a short 35+ km south to Saltery Bay. At Saltery Bay another BC Ferry ride takes you to Earl's Cove on the lower Sunshine Coast where you continue driving south to Pender Harbour along Hwy 101.
